This prize existed since 1986. With this prize special accomplishments concerning the preservation of historical monuments have been honouered. We are very pleased to be one of two of the last laureates!
Now we won every imageable prize for the preservation of historical monuments in Germany. But this was the first prize to be connected with a financial award. The money went directly into parts of the restoration we wished for but couldnīd afford up till now, especially because they werenīt subsidised. We restored by example the entrance door into the Palas or the restoration of the golden sentences and the marbling of the doorframes of the kitchen and the so called morning room behind the kitchen.
