inner yard

The inner yard exhibits several annexes leaning against the defence wall. They have been built around 1720:
- Opposite to the entrance gate there is the "Waschküche" (laundry room, former kitchen). This is a one-storey building subdivided by three rooms. In the middle room underneath the tall chimney there is the brick hearth of the kitchen. The huge funnel above it interconnects with the chimney.
- Next to the kitchen there is the "Hintere Holzleg" (rear firewood storage) having been used for storing the firewood for the winter times. There is another firewood storage outside the inner yard right to the entrance gate serving the same purpose.
- The "Hintere Werkstatt" (rear workshop) nestles to the north-east corner of the defence wall. This is a single room with no cellar underneath.
