Stromerwaldbaum

125 acres of the trust's area comprise natural selection forest which is surrounding the Castle of Grünsberg. The forest is pervaded by those wild gorges, there are slopes of up to 40 degrees. This makes the cultivation extremely difficult.
The gorges "Teufelskirche" and "Wolfsschlucht" are landscape conservation areas and have a status equalling nature protection areas since around 100 years.
